My first crochet project ever using sage green cotton yarn bought from sostrene grene and ricorumi cotton ombre yarn. The fishnet shrug was a super easy way for me to get the hang of crochet before moving on to more complex makes. Highly recommend for a first time project!
The bandeau top portion was completely freehanded and is a bit too small for me so will definitely re-do now I have a bit more experience with crochet. For the construction, it's essentially just a rectangle of double crochet tied at the back with a corset style lace up of a single crochet chain and a two-row mesh detail matching the sleeve.
